I’m Deepan,
the filmmaker and storyteller behind Wedding Story Tailor.
I began my journey behind the edit table in 2016 and gradually found my way into weddings. Over the years, what started as simply documenting a day became something much more meaningful to me: preserving people, conversations, relationships, and all the small moments that quietly make a wedding what it is.
Today, Wedding Story Tailor is built around one simple belief: a wedding should be experienced, not staged.

FAQ
How do travel, stay and accommodation work?
For weddings outside Chennai, travel, stay and local transportation for the crew will be planned separately based on the venue, schedule and team size. We recommend accommodation close to the venue for early-morning or late-night events.
When will the complete wedding be delivered?
The complete wedding delivery usually takes approximately 90–120 days, allowing us enough time to carefully curate, edit and finish the photographs and films.
How many photographs will we receive?
We don’t work with a fixed photograph count. You’ll receive a carefully curated collection of all meaningful and usable photographs from each event through your personalised online gallery.
Do you provide RAW photographs or RAW footage?
We don’t deliver RAW files as part of our standard coverage. Every photograph and film goes through our selection, colour and quality-control process before it becomes part of the final story.
How long is the coverage for each event?
Each event includes approximately 6–7 hours of coverage. If the schedule requires additional hours, extended coverage can be arranged separately.
Do you cover multiple weddings on the same date?
We take on only one wedding at a time, allowing us to give your story the attention, time and care it truly deserves , from our first conversation to the final delivery.
What happens if our wedding schedule changes?
Small timeline changes are completely normal. Just keep us updated. If there is a major change in event duration, venue or additional functions, we’ll revise the coverage plan accordingly.
Can we extend the coverage hours?
Yes. Additional hours can be added depending on the event schedule and crew availability and will be quoted separately.
Do you cover décor and food?
DĂ©cor, venue details and the little elements that make the celebration personal are part of our coverage. Food coverage is done upon request.
Can we add a photographer, cinematographer or drone later?
Yes, subject to availability. Additional photographers, cinematographers and drone coverage can be added to your collection whenever the wedding requires wider coverage.
How do we confirm our booking?
A 50% non-refundable advance confirms the booking and blocks your wedding dates. The remaining 50% is due one week prior to the wedding.
What if we want the full speeches or Sangeet performances?
Uncut speeches, complete Sangeet performances and other important long-form moments can be handed over separately upon request.
